Sophie Cunningham is a studio based Artist using photographic and sculptural processes.
Currently based in London, UK.

BA (First Class Honours) in Fine Art Photography. 2011 – 2015

AWARDS
Royal Scottish Academy | John Kinross Scholarship, Florence, Italy | 2015
One month spent making artwork in Florence. Body of artwork titled 'The Flood'was inspired by the 1966 flood which destroyed culturally important artifacts. Selected works from this project are now in the RSA permanent collections.

STRANGE LANDS, Shotgun Studios, London | 2017
During my time as Gallery manager at artist-led gallery Shotgun Studios, I produced and curated 'Strange Lands'.
A group show of 8 artists, whose artwork utilized photography in unconventional forms.
